Wholesale energy prices have substantially increased over the last six months and this is something that has been widely reported through all major news channels. There are various reasons for this, but the most significant is that the supply of gas is not meeting the level of demand and this is something that is being further exacerbated by the conflict in Ukraine. Consequently, energy prices have seen significant increase, both for domestic users and commercial operators, and this is something that has notably impacted the City Council’s Electric Vehicle Charge Point (EVCP) providers.
